Shapinsay Musical memories

We will be working with communities in the island of Shapinsay to explore memories of music and dance from the island, sharing the heritage of the museums, archives along with the research of how music is good for the memory. 

The project spans both the new and old generations by working with both the primary school and with workshops, which then are brought together for big Shapinsay Ceilidh at the end!
